Member spotlight is
on Marybeth Harris and
the Georgia Mountains
WIA (Work Investment
Act) Youth Transition
Program (a division
of The Georgia Department
of Labor).
The
Georgia Mountains WIA
youth program can help
eligible young people
to complete a degree
and find employment.
There are program options
for youth 19-21 who
have graduated from
high school to get assistance
with the costs of attending
technical college including
books, transportation,
and daycare. The GMWIA
youth program also helps
youths from 16-21 who
have dropped out of
school to return and
complete their GED and
develop employment skills.
There are eligibility
requirements for the
program. For a list
of requirements and
for more information
on the program, call
WIA Youth Case Manager
Marybeth Harris at (678)
997-7838 or visit http://gmwia2.com/index.html.
The Union County Interagency
Group is proud to have
Marybeth Harris and the

Youth Program as a member.
